Have you ever had a breakfast with Jesus?   If not, we have an open invitation to have four breakfasts with Jesus.  All men, regardless of age, are invited to join together to have breakfast with Jesus on the last Saturday of the month. At 6:00 a.m. on last Saturday of the month, we gather for prayer at the church kitchen and then we prepare breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee not only for us but also for those in our community who are staying cold nights on the streets and under the bridges.  We also visit the Labor Ready where people looking for any daily job gather as well as people in the park. I am sure it will not just be the breakfast but the heart of Jesus that we share with our brothers and sisters on the street. They are Jesus with whom we have breakfast because Jesus told us so. “I was hungry and you gave me food… Lord when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food….` Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of the least, you did it to me”  (Matthew 25)  

We make and serve around 70 breakfast sandwiches. 

Also you can join the Muffin Man on any of the other Saturdays to reach out to the homeless who stay on streets and the woods. Wade Ewing, our church member, has been visiting them on every Saturday morning with muffins, coffee, batteries, socks, tarps, blankets, or anything that might help the homeless.  Please contact the church if you are interested in joining the Muffin Man who literally lives in Manchester!!!
